Care Instructions for Your Handcrafted Decor
Each MINKO HOME piece is crafted using natural cast stone and sealed with a food safe, water resistant, and heat resistant sealer. To preserve the finish and longevity of your item, please follow the guidance below.
General Care
Avoid harsh impacts. While sturdy, cast stone is not shatter proof and may chip or crack if dropped or struck with force.
Clean gently using a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the surface finish.
Keep dry when possible. Although water resistant, prolonged exposure to standing water can weaken the material over time. Ensure the item is fully dried after cleaning or contact with moisture.
Heat Resistance
Your item can withstand heat and is suitable for warm surfaces and candle use. Avoid placing items directly on hot surfaces such as stovetops, open flames, or beneath hot cookware.
Food Safety
The sealer is food safe and suitable for holding dry items such as sweets, nuts, biscuits, or fruit. Avoid prolonged contact with wet or oily foods to maintain the finish.
Additional Care
These items are designed for indoor use. Avoid prolonged outdoor exposure, including rain, humidity, or direct UV light, as this may degrade the material and finish over time.
Bukhoor & Burner Use
MINKO HOME bukhoor burners are designed for traditional incense use and can safely withstand the heat of charcoal when used correctly.
Using Bukhoor
Light charcoal using tongs and allow it to fully ignite.
Place the hot charcoal onto the burner plate and wait until it turns ashy grey.
Add a small amount of bukhoor or resin and allow the scent to unfold.
Use sparingly, as a small amount is sufficient.
Safety Guidance
Always place burners on a stable, heat safe surface.
Never leave burning charcoal unattended.
Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials.
Allow the burner to cool completely before moving or storing.
